August 5th, 2010I am optimizing a site and have 5 keyword phrase i want to show up in Google. I have good Search Engine Optimization (SEO) results for 2 of the keywords. But I can’t figure out how to get the other 3 to become top result in Google. I have inserted the keywords in the title tags and image alt texts. Can anyone tell me what else I need to do.
There are many many factors when doing on-page optimization. BEFORE you begin link building (off-page optimization) you want to make sure that your on-page is top notch otherwise your skipping steps. You may want to create a webpage for each keyword. There is an amazing free tool you can use (link below) to find out how well your page is term targeted. What are the signs that a facebook profile has been deactivated?
July 29th, 2010Two friends facebook profiles have been not showing up on facebook recently.I have noticed on past messages from these friends that their profile picture has also changed to a shadow.They are missing from all facebook searches and on mutual friends lists.Are their profiles "deactivated"? When a profile is deactivated does it mean its gone from facebook for good? Thanks in advance!
Well first of all, you won’t be able to go to their profiles. Secondly, no profile picture will show up in any of their posts, and thirdly, their name will appear as "Facebook User". If the name is their normal name and not "Facebook User" then that means they have chosen to block you. If they have chosen to block you, their profile pictures will not show, their names will be black and unclickable. They will also not appear in any friend’s mutual friends list and will not appear in your searches. Unfortunately, there is no way to know which it is without doing one of these:
1) Asking someone you know was their friend on Facebook if the account is still active
OR
2) Actually asking that person.
To answer your other question, no. You can reactivate your account. But what’s the point in deactivating it in the first place, if you are just going to reactivate it?

Standard rates go anywhere from $45 - $100 / hour. However, before you hire an SEOer make sure you know the right questions to ask. I honestly would spend a few hours researching SEO just to make sure you can talk their language and ask the right questions.
These are the first things that I would do:
1.) Have them look at your site analytics to see if they can identify any low hanging fruit improvements you could make.
2.) Determine whether or not your website is structurally capable of becoming optimized? Do you have a programmer in-house? Who and how are you going to implement some of the suggestions from the SEOer?
When you finally choose an SEOer, before you let them loose have them devise a step by step plan of what they are going to do to optimize your site. Have them order each strategy/plan by priority and get an estimate for each step. Also, have them provide you with a list of action items that you can do internally. For example, one common SEO strategy is to submit your website to online directories. If that’s part of their plan then have them give you the list of directories so you can add your listing yourself. (DMOZ, Google Places, Yahoo Directory, Yellowpages, CitySearch, etc)

I remember searching it on the facebook search in the corner and I guess they took away this game? Can someone tell me what happened to this awesome game and if it is playable anymore?

YES - if your targeted keywords are also in their local language: English, Dutch and French
NO - if you meant you ONLY wanted to be on top of SERPS for Google’s pages in .fr, .com. .co.uk and .nl BUT the content or targeted keywords are still in English
How does Google rank those websites for those languages?
When creating domains for each website, use a local server for your targeted country. Submit links to local directories, local blogs, linking to local websites.
Based on my experience, when your website starts to get indexed and rank on the first 100, you can apply the usual and proven SEO strategy you know.

How to edit facebook profile picture without having to upload a new one altogether?
July 23rd, 2010Is there an application or software to decrease the brightness of my facebook profile picture, without having to remove it and upload a new one?? I have the comments on the current facebook picture and so, I do not want to get rid of it.

1. Edit your profile picture
2. Choose from album
3. Change your picture
